'Florien captures unspoilt nature from a shared sense of feeling. In her images she records the correspondence between non-human nature and the human painter. She offers a consoling escapism in the face of the landscape an-sich and the image we have of it. Her affinity with nature remains the driving force in creating an evocative world between figuration and abstraction, present and past.'
